Directions coming North on I-84 from Hartford, CT:
Follow I-84 from Connecticut across the Massachusetts line as you travel north towards the Mass Pike (I-90). Take either Exit 1 or Exit 2 ramp on I-84 and turn right to immediately come to the Rte. 15 junction. Turn left – heading north – on Rte. 15 (also known as Haynes St.) and take it to its end, where it terminates at the traffic lights on Rte. 131 (Main St.). Here you will see the Sturbridge Town Hall, Federated Church and Library. Turn left onto Rte. 131 and drive another ½ mile; driving under the I-84 bridge, past the Emergency Services complex on the right and on to the next lights. Turn left onto Rte. 20W. Within 100 yards enter the hotel entrance on your right.
Directions via the Mass Pike:
Take the Mass Pike to the Sturbridge exit, Exit 9, and pass through the tollbooths. You are now momentarily on I-84. Look out for, and take the first exit on the right, marked for Rte. 20W; it comes within 1/2 mile after the tollbooths.
The ramp takes you directly onto Rte. 20W and within 1/2 mile you will come towards a set of lights. You will see the American Motor Lodge on the right and the State Police barracks on the left. Go straight through the lights, remaining on Rte. 20W for another 100 yards and enter the hotel entrance to your right.
Directions via Rte. 20 W:
Head West on Rte. 20 to Sturbridge until you go under the I-84 bridge (The I-84 would take you to Hartford & New York City; you do not want that). 1/2 mile further on Rte. 20W you will see the American Motor Lodge on the right and the State Police barracks on the left. Go straight through the lights, remaining on Rte. 20W for another 100 yards and enter the hotel entrance to your right. |
